yesterday i had the opportunity to meet a new creature. it wasn't as loud as the fly last night, which i had fun chasing in the bedroom. i don't think the big guy and lady appreciated my graceful attack jumps from their bed. anyways, flies are a challenge. Moths, on the other hand, are a little more fun to hunt. they stay at the window so i can watch from inside or out...then as soon as they are low enough, i go in for the kill. i really don't mean to kill them. they flitter about so spastically i love to stalk and attack. and when i catch one, the fuzz tickles my tongue.
But yesterday, the creature i was after had loud wings and a huge body. It was crawling on the ground so i barked a little to scare it into flying. Kind of funny that it didn't leave, so i snapped at it. still, it stayed on the ground. i tried to use a paw to get it going, but no. the critter decided to take the long way and walk around my yard.
the lady ruined my fun tho. said something about 'hurt' and 'sting you' but i don't care. she threw a ball and i got to run. and that's the best thing in the world. well, second best after the big guy's food.
